At SolidRide, we believe your time, your riding ability, and your creative talent have real commercial value. We don't replace your current brand deals—we fill the gap by bringing creators and brands together for exclusive tour experiences where your time and expertise are valued.
If you’ve ever worked with amateur creators or influencers, you probably know their secret: they pack a camera, ride onto public lands, and shoot "guerilla-style."
What they don't tell you is that the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) classify any shoot featuring brand-sponsored gear or paid product placement as commercial filming. Under federal law, commercial filming without an active, approved permit is illegal.
As federal agencies increasingly monitor social channels and ad accounts for unpermitted commercial use, brands that run paid ads with illegal footage face massive retroactive fines, forced content takedowns, and public relations headaches.
Instead of helping every day riders picture themselves using your gear, professional athlete content can sometimes alienate your primary customer base.
Psychological Distance:
Extreme, highly technical riding creates a barrier—everyday ADV and dual-sport riders think “That’s incredible, but I could never do that,” rather than “I need that product.”
Expensive Fees:
Trapping a niche brand in expensive retainers and media fees eats up entire marketing budgets on a single campaign.
Restrictive Licensing:
Pro agreements frequently come with complex usage rights and strict time limits, restricting how, where, and for how long you can actually use the media you paid for.
Slower Production Cycles:
Traditional big-budget productions require massive coordination, resulting in rigid timelines that prevent you from capitalizing quickly on fast-moving content trends.
SolidRide Content Raids are engineered to close the four major opportunity gaps left behind by traditional influencer and pro-level agreements.
Content Predictability
Traditional creator campaigns leave brands at the mercy of unpredictable delivery timelines and algorithm chasing. SolidRide fills this gap by turning media creation into a structured production service, locking in a guaranteed stream of professional, short-form deliverables you own outright.
Audience Relatability
Pro athlete deals lean on extreme, intimidating stunts that make the average viewer think, “That’s not for me.” We capture the massive, underserved market of normal ADV and dual-sport riders by creating authentic, real-world content that shifts the narrative to: “Look what you can do with this product.”
Distribution Efficiency
One-off influencer agreements force you to pay premium rates for isolated, single-channel reach. SolidRide solves this by pooling our creator networks, giving your brand high-performance, collective distribution across multiple community channels simultaneously for maximum compounding impact.
Market Protection
Standard influencer marketing lacks competitive boundaries, meaning a creator might feature your product today and your direct competitor next week. Our invite-only, non-competing brand cohorts eliminate this risk, ensuring your marketing dollars buy exclusive, protected alignment within the ride.
Traditional influencer marketing is inherently unpredictable because most independent creators optimize for platform rewards and personal growth first, not your business.
Misaligned Incentives:
Most independent creators optimize for platform algorithms and personal follower growth first, not your specific sales goals or messaging.
Unpredictable Results:
One-off campaigns are a gamble on a creator’s personal content schedule, leading to unpredictable delivery timelines and fluctuating view counts.
Buried Brand Stories:
Because content is built to chase viral metrics, your actual product benefits, unique positioning, and brand narrative often get lost in the noise.
Competitor Clutter:
Without cohort protections, independent creators can easily promote a direct competitor after featuring your brand, diluting your investment.

Don has carved a distinguished path in the world of motorcycle racing since he started riding in 1977. His racing career propelled forward in 1979 when he began drag racing, transitioning into road racing in 1984 after a trip to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. Don quickly demonstrated his prowess, securing championship titles in both the Western Eastern Road Racing Association and AMACCS classes, including "A" Superbike, "B" Superbike, and Formula 1 during the mid-1980s.
A severe injury in 1986 while preparing for the Daytona 200 caused a temporary retreat from racing, but Don's spirit remained undeterred. He redirected his energies towards bicycling to rehabilitate his leg, which blossomed into a passion for the sport and resulted in winning the Mid Atlantic Super Series Mountain Bike Championship in his age category in 2002.
Don's adventurous spirit extends beyond racing; he has traversed some of the most challenging and scenic terrains globally, including the Trans America Trail, the Continental Divide, the Baja 1000 course, Stelvio Pass in Italy, and the Grossglockner Alpine Road in Austria. Alongside his wife, he has extensively ridden through various international locales and across the United States, nurturing a particular fondness for the American West.
Even as he ventured into off-road riding later in life, embracing hare scrambles and enduros at the age of 64, Don continues to challenge himself and expand his skillset. His lifelong commitment to learning with each ride underscores a remarkable journey spanning over 45 years in motorcycle riding. Don epitomizes the perpetual student of the sport, with a rich history of competition, exploration, and relentless pursuit of improvement.
Eric's passion for off-road riding traces back to his childhood, growing up in Maryland, where he rode alongside his father, a dedicated hare scrambles and enduro rider. This early exposure laid the foundation for what would become over 30 years of experience in the sport. Eric soon moved out west to hone his skills and work ethic in Oregon and Northern California, gaining valuable experience in the service and construction industries. These years were instrumental in shaping his approach to customer service, business management, and understanding the importance of hard work.
After several years in South Lake Tahoe, Eric relocated to Southern California, where he became more involved with the off-road community, participating in notable AMA District 37 dual sport events such as the Anza Borrego Desert Dash, LA Barstow to Vegas, Big Bear Challenge, and Ride for Kids. It was also during this period that he gained corporate experience as an award winning senior marketing technology manager. After 5 years in the corporate world, Eric's entrepreneurial spirit finally led him to found OpenMedium, a technology company that has proudly maintained a 5-star rating for over a decade. In 2017, seeking a balance of entrepreneurship and a lifestyle closer to nature, Eric moved his family and business to Denver. This move sparked the motivation behind SolidRide, a venture that reflects his passion for motorcycles and commitment to delivering epic customer experiences. Eric has completed professional training from NOLs, Red Cross, and the International Guide Academy. Eric's journey and experience underscores a life dedicated to excellence both on and off the trails.
